Yolo looks to revamp itself----in an effort to recruit new students to Before and After School Programs. The pandemic took a real toll on the number of students attending Yolo's ASP, so we are going through a remodel! We needed their input on what they want, and today they told us!

Ms. Meyers' art students learned about the craft of wood burning and pyrography as they made bookmarks last week. Guest artist Stephanie Perry displayed her work and taught the students all about this form of art. 100% engagement!
Last night Stanislaus County Office of Education held the countywide Employees Making a Difference Celebration honoring all of the individual district’s nominees. Newman’s nominee for the County Employee Making a Difference was Yuphaa Rolicheck from food services. We are excited to announce that the SCOE selection committee recognized Yuphaa and has nominated her to the State of California’s Employee Making a Difference award ceremony. Congratulations Yuphaa!
