In order to assist parents in completing 2017-18 Student Registration for Returning Students, the following sessions will be available. Hunt Open House

You are invited to Hunt's Open House, Monday, May 15th, 2017, 6:00-7:00 P.M.
Rita's Italian Ice will be there with their ice cream truck. The Cupcake Lady will be there with her delicious cupcakes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit 5th grade students attending Outdoor Ed Camp next year.

NCLUSD Dig Pink Event 1st Place in the state!

Thanks to all who participated and helped out in some way to make this a very successful event in our district. NCLUSD was 1st in the state and 5th in the nation!! Thanks to Angie Mackovich at Yolo and Vicki Felber at OHS for organizing such a great event that fundraised $8,562 for such a good cause. All sites came together as a team to make this a success!

Information on Adoption of Standards-Aligned Curriculum for K-5th Grades

Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District has reviewed and piloted a new standards-aligned English Language Arts Curriculum for Kindergarten through fifth grade. Benchmark Advance and Benchmark Adelante, for Dual Language Immersion classrooms, has been vetted and approved by the California Department of Education. After a 5-month pilot, the district will be adopting this curriculum for all K-5 classrooms. This decision was made by a teacher pilot review team. Evening Adult ESL & Citizenship

Evening Computer Lab

The Evening Computer Open Lab is once again available to NCLUSD families and students. There has been a change in location. The lab will now be located at the West Side Valley High School, classroom #1, 908 Main Street, Newman. The lab is open Monday-Thursday from 6-8pm.
